²⁶And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. ²⁷Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot. ²⁸And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. ²⁹And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram’s wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor’s wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Yiscah. ³⁰But Sarai was barren; she had no child. ³¹And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. ³²And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

²⁰And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor; ²¹Utz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Qemuel the father of Aram, ²²And Kesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Yidlaf, and Betuel. ²³And Betuel begat Rivqah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.

¹⁵And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rivqah came out, who was born to Betuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

²⁴And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Betuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

⁴⁷And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter art thou? And she said, The daughter of Betuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands.
